Castle Rigone

Castle Rigone
Castel Rigone is a fraction of Passignano that still retains the charm of the Middle Ages.
It seems that it was founded by Riggo barbarian during invasions of the sixth century, only to be fortified in 1297.
The history of this village is very interesting: in 1400 controlled a vast territory and was considered as an extension of the capital by the Rulers of Perugia.

Castel Rigone, at about 700 meters, offers breathtaking views of the lake and valleys Reschio and Mantignana.
